Glens Falls Renaissance Man

Despite being one of the most talented and prolific artists of the 20th century, Douglass Crockwell’s vast, diverse and significant contributions remain relatively unknown.

Our documentary will give Crockwell the recognition that he is due.  It will focus not only on his strong ties to the community of Glens Falls, but also his prolific career as an illustrator, painter, and inventor as well as his groundbreaking work as an avant-garde filmmaker.
